See what others have to say...
As part of our home study we were required to have people outside of our home and family attest to our abilities as parents. We are so humbled at what they shared, and thought it might be beneficial for others to see as well.
Letter 1:
I met Angela when we worked together, and we became good friends. I met Gage and AJ during this time, too. Angela and I spent a lot of lunches together talking about our lives and children. I could tell she was committed to rearing Gage to be a responsible and caring human being.
Even though we no longer work together, Angela and I have stayed in touch. She’s come to visit me and I’ve been to their home many times. Their home environment is so peaceful. Kylie Jo has the best disposition and it has to be because of the environment AJ and Angela have created. They spend quality time with their children, are bringing them up in church, and are attentive to all the children’s needs. AJ is calm and laid back and dotes on his children without spoiling them. Angela provides routine for the kids, feeds the family healthy meals, and constantly nurtures the kids. Those two little ones are the center of AJ and Angela’s world.
I admire them as parents and the home they have created for Gage and Kylie Jo.

Letter 2:
I am writing to express my unequivocal support of AJ and Angela as prospective adoptive parents. I have known Angela for 20+ years and AJ for 10 years. We all spend a good deal of time together socially.
I have witnessed first-hand the loving attention they show toward their son and daughter. They have provided Gage with many opportunities for self-discovery by way of church activities, multiple sporting extracurricular activities, and other organized activities. I know when Kylie gets to that age she will be provided with just as many opportunities. But even more importantly, AJ and Angela are truly hands-on parents. It is such a joy to see how both parents make a tremendous effort to spend one on one time with each child. It may be AJ and Gage going hunting together or Angela and Kylie going to the park, they truly put so much time into each of their children. Recently, they have started traveling as a family and that is something that as an outsider looking in is so special. Gage and Kylie will have so many wonderful memories of going on these road trips with both of their parents that one day they will tell their children about it.
AJ is a wonderful dad, he is so patient and loving towards both of their kids, he works so hard to give them everything they need. Angela is an amazing mother. She just recently got her second masters degree. If there’s one thing she is showing her children, it is you can do anything you set your mind to. She pours everything she has into Gage and Kylie, to make sure they know how loved they are.
Together, this couple is just amazing. Of course, they have occasional disagreements like any normal couple, but they are truly best friends. They treat each other with mutual respect and have created a stable, secure home for Gage and Kylie.
Gage and Kylie would be so excited to welcome a new baby brother or sister into this loving household. It is my strong desire that AJ and Angela be able to expand their family through adoption.

Letter 3:
I have known AJ and Angela for three years. We met through our city’s baseball league, as our boys played on the same T-ball team. My husband coached, and AJ was always first to volunteer to help coach and assist the children on the field. Over the last three years, we’ve grown very close to the family, and I can attest to them being a family full of love, generosity and faith.
The first memory I have of AJ and Angela as parents was at one of our first T-ball games. Their son Gage was hesitant to go back on the field. They talked him through his frustrations, they were calm and loving and eventually he went back out and did a great job. He was met with praise from both of his parents when he returned to the dugout. I think this is prime example of the kind of parents they are. This type of guidance and kindness extends not only to their children, but to mine as well. I asked my six-year-old son what he likes most about Mr. AJ and Ms. Angela, and he said they were nice to him and they let him come to their house for sleepovers. I trust AJ and Angel to watch both of my children as they are attentive and patient. Their home is full of wonderful energy. They are involved parents who are always playing with the children, whether it be outside running around, or inside doing crafts and reading books. Our families spend time together traveling, and I am able to constantly witness that family truly does come first for them.
AJ and Angela are a strong and stable couple who have built a beautiful life for themselves and their children. They are both amazing examples of hard work, dedication and perseverance. Their children have two wonderful role models to look up to. They are constantly teaching and providing guidance for their children, as well as others. They are involved in their church, lend support to those in need and are always first to help others.
